Biomass Boilers - Official Grant Engineering UK website | Grant UK

Biomass boilers have recently been included in the RHI scheme by the Government here in the UK which means you can get assistance for your heating in your home.  The scheme only  used to be open to commercial business and places open to the public such as supermarkets out in the countryside who had no choice but to use these alternative uses of energy to heat their building.

Obviously this damages the environment and the Government are trying to stop this so have now pushed for a greener way of heating and this focus is upon renewable energy i.e wood that can be replaced in what is known as a closed carbon cycle.  See the link above more details.
